Christmas has its own place at Dr. Holms. From 23 December to Christmas Day, the hotel is filled with mulled wine, gingerbread and candlelight, and the meals bring young and old together.

23 December

The day begins with a breakfast buffet, and in the afternoon there is a Christmas workshop for the children with hot chocolate, gingerbread and a Christmas film. At 17:00 we open Christmas: the children decorate the tree in the Salon Bar, and everyone gets mulled wine and gingerbread. Then it is time for the seafood buffet in the restaurant, and the evening ends in the Ski Bar with a performance of "The Countess and the Butler".

24 December

We start with Christmas porridge in the main restaurant. Throughout the day, traditional Christmas films play in the Ski Bar, and there are services at Geilo Cultural Church. At 17:00 we ring in Christmas, and the Christmas gospel is read in the Library. Then we gather for the Christmas buffet, and later in the evening Santa visits the reception.

25 December

A relaxed day with mulled wine and gingerbread in the Salon Bar, free bingo in the Ski Bar and a buffet in the restaurant. In the evening there is live music.

At the hotel

Between meals you can use the spa area with indoor and outdoor hot tubs, swimming pool, Turkish steam room and sauna. The hotel also has bowling and a sports bar. Outdoor parking is free.

Good to know

Table reservations are required throughout Christmas, and bowling lanes must be booked. If the children would like a gift from Santa, hand in one small gift per child at the reception before 16:00 on 24 December, clearly marked with the child's name.
